The 2015 Atlantic Round was hosted by The NAS at Stamford Yacht Club in September. Racing was also held in the Hudson River under the Statue of Liberty. KNS, NJK, KDY and KSSS participated along with The NAS. The Commodores of KNS, NJK and KDY, the CEO of KSSS and the Post Captain of The NAS were in attendance for racing or the awards dinner. KDY took top honors, taking home The Atlantic Round Trophy, The Adams Cup and The Stephen Swope Memorial Trophy. (Note: The Atlantic Round Trophy and The Adams Cup could not be located for presentation.) TAR was bracketed by the Stamford-Vineyard Race and the Stamford-Denmark Friendship Weekend to celebrate 50 years of friendship between Stamford and Denmark; this included match racing between SYC and KDY, the Valeur Jensen Stamford Denmark Race and non-sailing events such as a performance by the Royal Danish Ballet. Great thanks to Hiro and Yuko Nakajima and Ove and Neda Haxthausen!
KNS and KSSS have agreed to host TAR in 2016 and 2017, respectively, dates to be announced.

2014 Dinner Dance
The 2014 Dinner Dance was held on Friday, December 5 at the New York Yacht Club in NYC. The turnout was a record: 118. As always, from cocktails in the Model Room to the last song by the Muskrat Ramblers, the night was memorable including aquavit and songs, a performance by the Santa Lucia singers, awards, the "crowning" of Ernie Godshalk as the new Post Captain and his "performance" on his trumpet and a wonderful menu of venison, gravlax, lamb and risgrynsgröt.
